Yes I srearched but I still cannot find it.
BTW this is on a KA24E
I am replacing my radiator. RIght now i'm draing the coolant fromt he radiator drain plug (drivers side bottom) and next the FSM says to take off the block drain bolt. I am trying to look everywhere I can and cannot see this thing.
Dos anyone have an actual picture beside the illustration in the FSM and manual? How about like a dumbass guide to finding the draing bolt (like "looking at your engine, put your hand on the airbox and turn your head to the left")lol ?
:bite:
after the engine bolt, it says to open the air bolt on top (found that one)
do I run the engine at all? I was thinking when I get the new radiator in, to pour lotsa of water in the radiator cap hole until it comes out the drain (to flush radiator and block) and I wrong?
BTW this is on a KA24E
thank you in advance
:D

iirc, it's on the exhaust side of the block towards the back (under the exh mani, of course.)

thanks, I found it.
now i've got another problem.
I installed my new radiator, closed the block drain bolt, closed the air bolt and then poured water in the radiator. ran car until it was warm (about 15 minutes). Turned it off, drained water from the radiator. about 1 hour later water is drained and then I make sure bolts are tight (block drain and ari bolts) and then add 50/50 water/coolant. run the engine again for a little and add somemore to the resivour(sp?). everything looks fine, temps are fine. Decide to take a drive around the block temp gauge goes up almost to H. stop turn around come back to my garage abd pop the hood.
Check things out and it seems theirs a sort of boiling sound coming from the block or radiator. Resivour is full.
DOn't know what to do :bash:
I'm going to bed now (I work graveyard shift) and hopefully when I wake up I'll run the engine for while and see what happens.
anyone got any tips for me???

air in the coolant system ... try to get that air out.. !
run the car with the radiator cap open.. fill it.. wait till the level go down .. fill it .. do that for 5-10 min and everythng should be okay .. that what i did when mine did the same as you
