Look who won open tire...like I had alot of competition, but oh well. And check out what won street tire....is that not just disgusting (BTW...that guy normally pilots a Saleen S371 and is a #### good driver).

whats so special about open tire? why did you run that class?

STS (street touring/ street tire) is required to run in open tire (racing compound tires) b/c the PAX (sort of a class handicap) takes the fact that STS must run street tires into account. If I was allowed to run in street tire, I'd have an incredible advantage.
Honestly, I could have done a little better. The 'Vette was running on R tires and the pavement was damp.

#### who would have known that a s-10 would be a running with the miata's?
Good job! Was it just you and the Vette in open tire?

yeah...it was pretty wet during the first part of the event so most of the usual open-tire people went to street tire for the day.

Yeah, I know...I like it. But it still some good competition in there even though we're one of the smallest regions. We usually have a little more than that but the weather conditions were less than friendly.
Oh, and the guy in the S-10 embarrassed more people than me. I kicked myself when I heard his raw time.
::searching for an excuse:: In my defense, I was giving members of my family rides that day to show them what I do.
great job lance, what mods to you have done? (that is sweet u kept up with a corvette <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> )

Thanks...actually he beat me by a little over 2 seconds raw time and PAX allowed me to beat him...I guess still not bad considering he had slicks and something like 150 more hp.:)
I've got 16x7.5" Borbets with 225/45/16 Kumho 712's, KYB AGX, Eibach ProKit, Whiteline rear adj. sway bar, PM f/r STB's, Whiteline t/c rod bushings, and A'PEXi N1 Single.
