i was wondering if any of you s13 owners have a rubbing problem with your front driver side wheel. I'm lowered on rsr race springs /w kyb agx. When im turning right somewhat hard, i hear my wheel rubbing. Sometimes it will rub even when going slow, if i hit a small bump. I was wondering if this was a common s13 problem with lowering and what I could do to remedy it.
I was thinking perhaps something was wrong with my spring/combo on that side. When i first installed it kyb sent me a blown agx, i returned it and reinstalled it. Upon re-installation, the shock/spring combo was taller than before and i really had to fight it in place.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Jonathan
FWIW I sometimes rub various parts of the inside of my wheel well during turning as well. What size tires/wheels are you running, and just how low is the car? Alignment settings will also affect whether or not you rub.
On my slammed coilovers, the 205/55/15 and 15*7 -1 combo rubs somewhere... I'm not quite sure where, though.

I've worn a small hole through the front of my fender liner from right turns. I think I'm rubbing a little on the seam inside the well too.
Just jack the car up, have some one turn the wheel back and forth, and see were it touches, or gets close to touching. If you are rubbing, there should be some markings.

im just runnin the stock SE setup 15x6 w/ 205/60/15. Finding a solution to this situation is very urgent. I will soon be getting a set of 5zigen fn01rc 17x8 +35 at all four corners. Those are 2 inches wider, i need to figure out how to fit them in with minimal rubbing...
thanks

Grab on it and pull really hard :p
The big black thing inside the wheel well. It doesnt need to be there and just rubs. So remove it and then make sure the wiring trunk is safely ziptied out of the way.
