Socal Convoy's 1st Van Buren Drive-In Car Meet
Friday June 29th 2012
Get there at 6:30pm to tailgate and check out the cars. The Movies

starts at 8:30pm. If you get there early you get a spot. If you get there after 8 you may not get a spot because the public tickets will go on sale.

This will be posted on as many forums as possible to try and get a good verity of Makes and

Models. The last meet we organized we had over 60 cars with two weeks notice. This time we

plan on making this meet bigger than that so be sure to tell everyone you know.

I will be making a list of people going. It will be the same as always so if you want to go

PM me with your car info and I'll add you to the list.

Ticket prices are $7 for adults and kids 5-9 $1

cash only.

I talked to the owner and he said if your car is low you will be able to get around in the

lot.

All sound for the movie is on a FM station so guys with a good sterio will enjoy this.

Is this a 4x4 meet because not many cars I know of can go there because of speedbumps and those inclines inside the theater.

I think we will have enough cars there to keep everyone entertained for a bit until the movie starts. So for the guys that are too low and don't want to take the time to turn their wheel a little more than a normal night just bring another car and hang out. I'll have another meet the month after that will be a little more slammed friendly.

I went there last night to check it out for myself because I haven't been there in a while.
The three speed bumps while coming in are a bit tall but also long enough to go over without scraping.
Once your in you can follow the aisles up to the row you'd like to park at and pull maybe a 5 point turn and you should be good.
What I'd suggest is park your car a little more sideways and bring some fold up chairs and make a spot to chill at.

If your car is too low to be a daily driver then maybe you shouldn't bring it.

Sounds like a koo meet. Does the drive in have them old school speakers that play the sound or do you use the stereo in the car, cuz I don't have an antenna lol. ? (I stay in LA, even my tire valve caps went missing lol)
