okay im looking to buy some rails for my seat. a guy sent me his link to his local forum and this one.(same user name) on his local forum he has pretty good amount of post and rep. and here only like 20 post but no threads made... is it still safe to make the purcahe via paypal..? never used it so im just wondering how safe it actually is..
just to have peace in mind

There is no guarantee. Use a major credit card to increase chances of not getting screwed over since they will usually cancel transaction if needed. Paypal is more secure then other things since now you have to have quite a bit of info when making an account but its still not 100% for non "official" transactions (like ebay type shit)

Been using it for 8 years now, probably nearing 1000 transactions between personal and business. Only had a few problems where i got ripped off but ended up getting my money back (Eventually)

For the most part pretty safe.

Paypal protection? FORGET IT!

THEY WON'T DO SHIT FOR YOU!

The only way to get buyer protection with Paypal is to purchase WITH A CREDIT CARD and deal with the credit card company if you get scammed.

^^^ Agreed. I had a guy on here a couple years back who scammed me. Pulled the money from his acct. and paypal couldn't do anything for me...
