Because its fucking cheap, easy to install and not a bad mod if you're staying NA. Anything is better than the restrictive stock intake that probably still has the original filter in it.

on a real note, if you want a better alternative.

See if you can score a cold pipe from someone who is parting out a KA-T with aftermarket intercooler.

Then just re-route your MAF wiring on the passenger side. And you can run your intake on passenger side for a shorter tube and possible under the engine bay where it can probably get more cold air and do as it should.


Just saying, did this with my N/A SR.
