Haha, I was thinking the same thing when I was looking at it. Too bad its a Mazda 6, I would like my S13 to be carbon that would be crazy!

I was at a local car show once...and there was a newer body style m3 that was made out of carbon fiber it was pretty dope...it was some kind of prototype. Everything was carbon fiber just like that car.

Hopefully they did not use  FiberImages :rl: carbon fiber to do the car...or they will see what happens to it in a year! lol But yeah I think that has gone too far when they do the whole car like that. Not at all realistic. I would not drive that down the freeways of LA for instance.

From what i heard CF is one of the strongest materials.... Check out the Mercedes SLR, full carbon fiber body, if you saw that post on it geting into an accident, the SLR was not even dented, while the other car was EFFed up bad.

that'd be kickass....if it wasn't a MAZDA 6....if they had spent all that $$ and stuff on a awsome car from the get go...I'd like it...like a 350z:)....don't get me wrong...the mazda 6 is a nice 1st-4th gen. maxima/altima 3.5SE wannabe and all...but still

Oh boy here we go again.
Time for a very short carbon fiber lesson.
The carbon shells/bodies on Enzos, SLRs, F1 cars, stealth fighters, blah blah blah are made using a "DRY" carbon process.
The Mazda above has carbon made using a "Wet" process that is the same as if you were making a part out of fiberglass.
DRY>WET, but costs 10x as much. for instance, the nose cone of a CART car(dry carbon) costs about 13 grand, or something like that.
So, do not compare a dry carbon SLR to a wet carbon Mazda 6, or I will stab you.

lol. Thank you for the kind words.
I just want everyone to understand that there are several different processes that these "carbon" parts are made with.
The simple fact is that if you know what you are doing you can make wet carbon parts in your garage, it's the same process as if you were making wet fiberglass parts. It's actually very simple.
Now, I'm not saying that wet carbon is bad, in fact it's quite good as long as the craftsmanship is high.
Replacing metal with composite parts is an easy way to drop lots of weight off a car. Everyone just needs to understand that wet carbon is pretty much equal to wet fiberglass. And since I personally don't give a shit about the bling factor of exposed carbon I prefer well made fiberglass parts.
I could go into further detail about this subject but I won't, cause I don't feel like writing an essay.

kinda looks ok for a FF. Too bad it can't touch Titan's Carbon R34. Or is it Zexel now?? err....gotto go look back at my Option mags again.
That would be a cool track car though... I'd paint it black, I dont like the look of carbon fiber.

Just a quick question, and i'm not being a prick, but why does drivetrain have anything to do with the look? Or are you just saying FF rather than Mazda 6?
