S13 brake problem?

Okay so I changed the pads, and filled up the brake fluid.. I tried bleeding the brakes by unscrewing brake line and pumping brakes..

I thought that was right, well when I got in car to drive an test... The brakes push all the way to the ground! To stop you have to pump them like 10 times!

Help, I've searched and couldn't find anything.

You probably bled the system wrong. You need to start over again.

Make sure the reservoir is full. Ask someone to pump the brakes for you. Start with the passenger side rear wheel and ask your helper to hold the pedal down and open the bleeder. close it and then repeat the process again till you don't see air bubbles coming out anymore. Repeat this with every wheel in the order of pass rear, driver rear, pass front, driver front. Make sure the reservoir stays full throughout the process.. Pm if you got any questions

I'm sure you meant the bleeder screw. If you're doing this by yourself you need to keep the pedal to the floor, before you bleed out and close the bleeder. Tip add a hose to the bleeder, put it in a bottle with fluid. U do this so you don't suck in air before the bleeder is closed. Use a Jack handle on the seat to keep the pedal to the floor. Or get another human being.

Ahhh I never turned the bleeder screw... I literally just un bolted the brake line.... That makes since!!!!

Technically no! LR, RR, LF, RF then if ABS equipped, bleeder on abs

This is wrong. I know this is what it says in the 240SX FSM but it is a misprint since its the same order as the RHD 180sx/Silvia vehicles.

180SX = LR, RR, LF, RF
240SX = RR, LR, RF, LF.

Although essentially you can do it in any order and still bleed properly if you are thorough enough. It's just that the proper order is most likely the quickest.

That's why I said technically. NISSAN FSM wrong again!

The split between LR & RR seem to more on the right side, so I always do LR for first.
