its a KA however it doesnt matter, it bolts to either one... just like if you were to get an aftermarket shifter, it fits both because they both have the same bell housing. this one was on my SR.

The bell housings are different for an sr and a ka trans man. So no it doesn't fit both. Also you have an s13 trans because it's not drilled and tapped at the top of the bell housing for the crank sensor that the s14s have. You might want to research what s13 5spds are worth and reconsider your price.

Guy, when did i ever said that it was for a S14?!?!?!?!

ok common sense apply here people, for example #1: if you have a KA engine and you're transmission blew up right, you can get this tranny still and put on use your bell housing and wait for it.................................... tadah!!! it works because both housing connect to the tranny therefore making it easily exchangeable.

example #2: if you have a blown SR tranny and you need a replcement, guess what, the SR bellhousing is on already and all you have to do is mount it right up and wait for it.................................... keep waiting for it................................................ ................................................

not rocket science, this isnt like mounting a z32 trans on a SR or KA, its basically the same transmission exept for the bell housing which by any means more than likely you (my future buyer whoever that may end up being) can STILL make the tranny work!!!
