Its true. It makes the car engage and disengage smoother. If you let it out all the way it will be faster BUT your transmission will not last as long!

lol no..step on clutch then you shift and then let go of the clutch all the way unless you wanna burn your clutch

just buy an automatic, it will shift for you
i prefer pressing on the clutch 2/3 of the way down in all 5 gears and i like to redline whilst doing do
