When in doubt, get it rebuild. There's like 4 popular rack rebuilding places that should do the job for $150.

Oreillys. Lifetime warranty for 170 i think. Gone through 2 of them already.

Maybe SLO but i just called a few oreillys and they all said 300

^with core exchange, it comes out to $160 with tax for my s14 steering rack.

I just checked Oreillys website and it says $300 with $24 for the core.
They must have bumped up the price since I bought mine last year or try giving them a call to double check.

rack cannot be rebuilt the rod with the teeth is bent all gnarly. and ya oreillys is 300 i called a few different locations . pep boys and autozone are both 280 but they have to be ordered i was hoping to pick one up somewhere but im going to the junkyard tomorrow
