Reposting this car, which has served as my daily driver,
1992 Nissan 240sx Convertible LE
Clean title + clean carfax!
Good:
Still has OEM white paint, shiny and nicely kept!
Ka24de runs strong and has new distributor, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor button, plugs, water temp sensor, thermostat, and mass air flow sensor!
Converted to a 5 Speed Transmission, by an actual shop
ICE cold A/C!!!
Power windows, doors, and locks!
Uncracked dash!
KYB Struts w/ Tein Lowering Springs
S14 front seats
Injen intake
Tires are decent shape
Cat delete, so the exhaust has a very nice tone
Brand new rear window, which as most know - is VERY expensive on a convertible
J30 rear diff
Brakes replaced recently
Bad:
A few small dings in the driver side fender (about dime sized, very small)
The stock wing had a few small chips, but has been painted over
Some weatherstripping on the driverside door has fallen off, so there is a small gap between the window and the top. You can buy similar weatherstripping for about $10-$15 at any auto parts store.
Unknown mileage. It is somewhere between 150k - 200k, but the odometer was replaced when the manual swap was done, and reads different mileage.
The plastic bezel around the automatic window switches on the door is cracked.
The interior panels for the backseat are missing.
The antenna is out of the hole, and laying in the backseat (previous owner), unattached, obviously.
The convertible top does not go up or down automatically, as the motor has been pulled because it was leaking. I still have the motor and ALL of the pieces, if you would like to attempt to repair it. You just have to do it manually. Not too big of a deal.
The carpet is ok, but is a tad bit dirty/worn.
The back driver side brake makes some noise, I would assume the caliper probably needs replacing as the brakes have all been replaced recently.

Overall though, this car is super clean and a great, fun daily. Most problems are cosmetic and fairly small problems, really runs pretty strong. I didn't have ANY plans to sell it, but due to some unforseen changes recently financially + I really miss having a hatch 240sx, I am putting it up. I am in NO hurry to sell, this car is super reliable and fun, just waiting for somebody to offer me what it is worth.
Would trade for a hatch, coupe, or s14. Would also trade for an s-chassis shell + cash on your end! Thanks!
The price is 3,300 and pretty FIRM.
Thank you!
