hey everyone, just wondering if anyone else with a NA Ka24de has at least swapped to some new brand spark plug wires? barely going to do my first tune-up to my s14 and i wanted to buy some, just don't know what brand is best for our cars. My older brother recommended NGK ones, but i was hoping for some wires colored RED as my Engine bay theme is going Red. Thanks! :snoop:

NGk would do best but since you want red, you can try to search for MSD or Nology spark plug wire set.

I have NGK's on my ka, but ive never had anything besides it. So I wouldnt even know what bad wires would feel like, if theres noticeable difference besides improper firing.

sr20det redtop/black top doesnt use sparkplug wires. it uses coilpack. you can check splitfire

I think I need to change my spark plugs as I'm having trouble starting my car. I may have a bad spark plug. I've been asking for recommendations from friends of what brand I should buy for replacement. One suggested denso spark plug (http://www.jcwhitney.com/spark-plugs-coil-and-ignition/c50609j1s17.jcwx) wires? Based from your experience, how was it? How about the price? Thanks!

I put cheap pep boys plug wires in my car after I broke my NGKs, idk if its related to the problem but my ignition coil overheated a couple times. (this was on a 1300 mile drive though)...
