Hi, ive had an ongoing KA24E-t project for a couple years now and since i finished the engine build and the car runs but it needs a tune. Its been sitting for about a year now because ive lost my job, anyways i now can afford about 200 dollars shipped for a wideband..
I'm currently looking at two specific models, the innovate MTX-L and the AEM UEGO.
Innovate Digital Wideband MTX-L Air/Fuel Gauge Kit All-in-one w/O2 Sensor 3844 | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/290685886067?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_2347wt_1044)
AEM 30-4100 DIGITAL WIDEBAND UEGO CONTROLLER AIR FUEL RATIO - FULL WARRANTY | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/AEM-30-4100-DIGITAL-WIDEBAND-UEGO-CONTROLLER-AIR-FUEL-RATIO-FULL-WARRANTY-/330682646907?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cfe38c17b&vxp=mtr#ht_1092wt_813)
From looking at both these widebands and looking at reviews both seem to have a good reputation.. How ever ive noticed from reviews of the AEM that it does not include date log equipment where as the Innovate does. I do have an SAFC II i installed and i figured i would be able to make adjustments accordingly to the wideband so i suppose i wouldnt need the date logging connectors and software but i feel its nice that innovate includes this.
This is where im having trouble, i know AEM is a great company and makes some great electronics. But i feel that since its doesn't include the data logging you could say its not " user friendly " as the Innovate. Is there any insight some of you can give me that can sort of lead me in the right direction ?
Thanks alot for taking time to read this.
*EDIT* Also for mounting the O2 bung, where exactly is the best place ? under the car ?? or on the down pipe ? I do not have any cat on the pipe its straight..
