aiite..i've been having this problem for a while now..i've gotten some advices..by cleanin mah throttle body wit the Carb cleaner carp it work for a while..not it's not workin anymore..I clean and clean it..well spray and wipe the throttle..and it was still the same..

THe problem is when I come to a stop..i see the rpm meter drop kinda quick..you think it would stop at 700 and bounce to 900..rpm..but instead it juss drops all the way to zero and basically my car is stalled...but wuts weird is when I drop it into a gear for example 2nd gear...it would start up fine..like nothing has happened!...i juss don't want it to happen when drop it to netural and let the car slow down on a turn..because mah power steerin would cut off..
thanx

I would start looking for intake leaks of some sort in the way of vaccum leaks. Injector seals, hoses yahta yahta. Just a thought Depending on how many miles is on the motor you might check the timing if it has a lot of miles on the timing chain (probably dont apply if it runs fine other than idle). Just thoughts......Tune up?

check your MAF... I have the same problem as you... That is a major problem with the 240sx... Clean the plug that plug into the little rectangle box that is attached on the MAF... you should feel something different after you clean it... by doing that... you might reduce your fuel economy also

is there a Check Engine Light?
If so, check that first.

Problable causes:
IACV
Leaking or stuck injector
Vaccum leak
Maf
ignition timing

i've had the engine check light go on a off...sometimes it lights and sometimes it doesn't..and it could be..i think it isn't workin..lol cuz I pulled the plug and i pull off the top where the connector connects..and it seems to be disabled..

I had this problem and I fixed it by unplugging the one of the sensors going into one of the valves on the intake. The only problem is that you have to rev it a little on startup or else it stalls. So much better than having to make sure that it doesn't stall at every stop.
