View Full Version : what are the difference between 95KA and 96KA

hey! i was swapping the motor from 95KA which has about 200k to a 96KA which has only about 19k. my qusestion is what is the difference between this 2 engines the difference that i encounter was that it has difference intake manifold and abit difference in the vaccum lines. but other than that I don't know.... i thought both of them were suppose to be identical???? :aw: :confused: :duh: :newbie:

Emission, I beleive the 96 is OBDII.

The latter halves of the '95s are OBDII as well-it's just luck of the draw whether you get a '95 that was produced in '94 (OBDI) or in 95 (OBDII).

Yeah, mine is a 95 OBDII.
