not much actually...goes for 200 bucks on the taka website, shipped here for 4100 yen, so under 40 bucks...plus 7100 yen customs...so around 250, same as with a hks or blitz.

You really need to do us all a favor and get some audio clips of what it sounds like <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Is it built to adapt on the stock SMIC, or a FMIC? or both?

crazycuban

im guessing both, cuz all it came with was the bov itself, big rubber tubing (looks kinda like radiator hose), a vacuum tube and adjustable mounting brackets...yeah, the s14 bov isnt as pretty as that 180sx pic...no pretty blue piping...

From the pic it looks stock.... it's just a tube though, you could fit it on a FMIC

Dug this thread up because I'm thinking of ordering a bov myself and the sard looks the best of the lot. Have you got this running on your car yet? If so does it make a &quot;psssst!&quot; sound or a &quot;chirp!&quot; like the HKS/BLITZ sqv's. Also has it affected the running of the motor as I heard that atmopheric bov's can cause the ecu to do funny things as it has trouble coping with the sudden loss of air as it lets off?

posted this in another post, but just in case u didnt see it, the car isn't running yet, but should be in about 2 wks (#### school)...

Have another owner over here who is also interested in getting one! We want to know what sound the thing makes and does it affect the running of the motor as some atmespheric bovs do? I await you reply, e-mail me if you want.

its...coming...everything, save the wiring and intercooler, is coming together. &nbsp;the wiring waits till i get the S14 FSM in (probably tomorrow) and the i/c waits till i get some help or figure it out...
