Price is now $4,000!!!
For sale is my 88' TurboII. I'll begin by saying that I love this car and would kill to keep it, but I am a poor college student and cannot afford to commute every day in a turbocharged car. I need to move this car this week. I haven't had the car long. With it being a rotary car I was leery of its reliability, but I drove the car from Dayton to Atlanta to watch FormulaD. The car cruised at 75mph(3,200 rpm) on average for what ended up being a 1200 miles road trip. Zero problems(short of a flat tire). Right before the trip I changed the oil with Mobil1 10w30. The car is not in perfect shape, but you will have a hard time finding a cleaner TurboII anywhere else, especially one that has not been molested. I'm the 3rd owner, but the car has only gained 6k since the original owner. History report on the car(via ebay) was impeccable. Below I've listed problems I've found with the car.
Problems;
The car needs a battery-(I will gladly deduct the *reasonable* price of a battery from the purchase price)
Rust on door and fender-(This is the only rust I've discovered on the car)
Seats show their age alittle-(please see pictures(other than the seats the interior is near perfect for a 24 year old car))
Clutch may be the original-(if I were to keep it I would replace it in the next 3k miles)
Scratch on fender-(may have been keyed at one point-see pictures)
Overall; the car is amazing. Everyone loves this car. Everything that is power on the car works as far as I know. The car has to have every conceivable factory option. CD player(1988? Wow), cassette player, am/fm, power windows, doors, moon roof, cruise, rear wiper, factory alarm, etc. Handles like a Miata.
I can get any additional pictures you might want. The car is daily driven and is ready to go. I will meet up, but pay for my gas. Price is $4,000, but I am extremely flexible. The sooner someone comes to me with cash in hand the less they'll pay for the car. I will consider trades only if there's at least $500 cash on top. Like I said; I'm in sort of an emergency financial situation so factor that into you offers, but if you offer me $2000 I'll mail you some anthrax.
