So I got new tires put on my 95 240 and the pep boys shop told me to bring it back for a proper alignment once enjuku finishes installing the rear subframe bushings. Only reason why I got the tires at pep boys was due to their promo, buy 3 get 1 free.

So once at enjuku, I decided to also install the isis coil overs and suspension arm package. Got that installed and working great.

This morning I brought the car in to get a proper alignment. They told me that I needed a camber kit since they were in the red.

After telling them that the coil overs were adjustable, they got the left camber spot on but the right camber is in the red, -2.5 degrees. They also informed me that if they had to look at it again, I was going to be charged for an alignment since I never informed them about my additional add ons from the start. When I bought the tires I was told that I have a 90 anytime alignment warranty.

Questions:
1. How can my left front camber be at -0.8 (green) degrees while my right front camber is at -2.5 degrees (red)?

2. Would a bolt fix the right front camber to put it in the green? That is what they, pep boys, think would fix the issue.

3. Most of the time I'm an impulse buyer but don't they have to fix it as part of the alignment?

4. Any pep boys forum members think this is fair of them?

The coilover mount/bracket, the top hole is slotted. More than likely the other side is maxed out and the other side is maxed in. Have them loosen the perch nuts and you should be able to move the knuckle in and out.

Both knuckles are in the same position. Also they are maxed out (outwards towards the body) already.

Set the coilover camber plate up top even, adjust your camber on the bracket.

Shouldn't the shop take care of that during the alignment?

It's pepboys, they most likely won't know abut coilovers and such.

They knew how to adjust it but I think they half ass'd it...still doesn't explain why one side is spot on and the other is off by more than 2 degrees

Your car is fine, pep boys are idiots and they dont know how everything works on your suspension. Take it to a real 240 shop.

Wish I knew a shop that could align the car...I know enjuku can't due to equipment so I'm going on a hunt to find a shop in Orlando, FL or if anyone can point me in the right direction it would save me the time

I'm pretty sure Ken/BG or whoever else @ Enjuku can help you find a reputable alignment guy.

There are 2 firestone Tires in Orlando. They offer lifetime alignment for about $180.

Or you can try to do it yourself...

Should be able to get you close enough, depending on how even the floor you're doing it on is. Then measuring tape to double check your toe.
