i believe 2 connects to three ( those are the coolant passages). Im not sure where 1,4 and 5 go. doesnt one of theses connect to the intake pipe?

any input would really help me out. thanks

You have a FSM? There should be vacuum maps in it.

EDIT: The vacuum drawing is on EC-10, but it doesn't show the TB in very clear detail.

My apologies. In other news, I wish I had that throttle body. Cruise control would sure be nice on my daily hour long commute!

Do a better search, I personally have covered this quite a few times in the last year.

My friend, i have checked all your post and topics created (last 500) all you have is SR vacuum diagram material. please dont waste my time if you wont take the time to read my thread, or post usefull info.

#3 is a inlet for coolant line to the throttle body
#4 is i think the IACV
#5 i think goes to your EGR or EVAP system

I see where the confusion comes in. I have covered this, but it was for an S14 SR. However, I can still help somewhat.

1. Unsure of at this time.
2. I believe goes to the IACV?
3. Is your coolant inlet/outlet for the throttle body
4. Is not a vacuum source, you can cap it.
5. Is a vacuum source

#2 connects to #3 for coolant to throttle body

ok, thank you for the input. 2 goes to 3. im still uncertain about 1,4 and 5. i dont want to cap anything off, because i have all the stock parts, and am going back to stock. and it seems as if you guys are uncertain about 1,4,5. doesnt one of theses connect to the plastic intake pipe? if so which one? also i dont think anyone of these lines connect to the iacv or egr evap, because all thoses sit on the back of the engine and i have all those vacuum lines sorted out. there are no missing connections in the back of the engine. though these might travel from front to back i still need to know where they start. once again, thank for the input, hopefully we can get this solved.

I'm pretty certain that 1 and 5 run over to charcoal canister on the drivers front side. That needs atleast one vacuum source which could be either one of those two. 4 is not a vac source because it is before/at the throttle plate, it may connect to the black plastic intake pipe right before the throttle body. It's been awhile since I've messed with a KA.

5 goes on the air intake small connection closest to the throttle body

Im too lazy to take all of it apart but I felt where 1 goes to and i think it goes to 4 unless there is another connection on the front (side closest to bumper) of the throttle body

my friend. its a 97 obd2. not a 95,96. the gas tank emissions etc sit behind the passanger rear wheel. once again, please read my thread instead of just posting. but i thank you for the input.

I read the thread, I had no idea that the charcoal canister was moved/removed on the 97-98 models.
