Why r my brake lights on??? Plz help!

So I go to the store on my bike and wen I come bak i see my tailights on! Any idea wat it might be? And their showing like if im pressing the brake :l idk wat it could be but give me sum ideas.. Thanks!

First of all, this isn't the right place to post this question.

Second, it is a switch that goes on your brake pedal that presses into a rubber fitting when you are not touching the brake. Your rubber stopper has fallen out or is broken so it is acting as if you are on the brake pedal. They are $3 at the dealership to replace.

on your brake pedal there should be a stopper for your brake light switch to make contact with. That's probably cracked apart and fallen out. You may notice little bits by your feet that look a little like crushed bits of crayon, that's the stopper. The hole that the stopper goes in can be permanently fixed by using a small nut/bolt.


I had the same thing happen to mine.
