Been awhile since I posted here..........
Well, I think I may have made a bad decision.......after my teg was stolen, I wanted a 240........hence joining this site....... I wanted like a 93' coupe....hard as HELL to find a half decent one.......after about 2 months with no avail. I gave up and bought an 03 Accord Coupe V6....phat car, but no tunability......I gave that one to my mother, and I bought a 99 Civic Si/ greddy turbo and an ass load of other work........I was ride of the month in Super Street ; )......... That car was fun, but very very not good for daily use........ so I traded it in for 2004 RSX-S....I LOVE this car...I've had it about 3 months now, and have already dropped some mods into it....... but I still want a 240!!!!!! This sucks now, because I want to mod the RSX, and a 240 if I can find one, but I don't want 2 hookup cars in my life.....I have BAD luck w/ thieves and shit................ So, I guess my question is........Is it worth it to have a 240 done up and an RSX on the side......?!?
Any opninion on this is welcome.......

But instead of the scooter get an electric scooter then you could "Drift" that. I dunno get a 240 and have it as another car then find some Ricer to sell the RSX-S to. Just make sure your 240 isn't honda/acura style, and make sure it's not a show car :ghey:

Bandwagon my dick.......... I just always liked them.......... I don't rice my shit out, I build them nice...and my civic ran low 13's......it was beat to drive 1 hour each way in rush hour traffic.......I just wanted to hear from some 240 owners, if they thought it was worth it or not.......

I would keep the RSX...you already like it and have some mods. Plus it's a reliable daily driver. They are nice cars, a friend of mine is taking her's to VIR next month with me and she is going to have a blast

my friend is kinda going thru the same problem as you. he had a rsx then traded that in and got an WRX sti. now he wants a 240 coupe (bandwagon). i would keep the RSX for daily driver then have the 240 as track/fun car. you can remove all the luxuries like ac, gut the interior, super stiff suspension, and not have to worry about driving everyday like that.

what is it with people these days? i really can't fathom the ideas that are going through your head right now but let me shed some light on this subject for you and the 8000 other people posting "240 or this car?" threads on this and the other 240 forums.....

you say you've always liked them... fair enough. you want one sooooooooooooo bad. understandable. but if that was true you'd already have one. do you people come here for validation? do you really need our opinion on what to drive? from your story you've already been through 3 cars that far outprice a 240 with all the good stuff, so if you like these cars so much why haven't you saved some cash and bought one instead of honda after honda? this is why people are saying you're jumping on a bandwagon, because if you truly liked/wanted these cars you'd have one and wouldn't be looking for strangers on a web forum to validate the idea.;) plain and simple fact.

You gave up after only 2 months??!!??!! WTF If you really wanted one you would be more patient then that, I searched over a year to find my white S14 SE, and finally got her like a year and a half ago, and while i was searching my car was broke down and had to bum rides, you already had a working car so why didn't you just wait?? I completly agree with everything that HiPSI said.

RSX is a SWEET car. My roommate has one, and I would take the RSX over my 240 any day if I had the money. The K20 is an AWESOME engine.

I'd say keep the rsx for reliability. Once you find a zenki make it a project; well worth it and cheap to mod. You'll need that rsx to get around for everyday situations and crap plus haul 240 parts you are either replacing or whatever....Yes, I said use the rsx like a pickup truck for hauling 240 parts....Good luck finding one it's not too hard if you look in the right places.

Keep RSX dont mod it, put a system in it, use it as a car for the ladies :)

Buy 240 strip it, put a cage in it, and fill in the rest.

Don't ditch the RSX and buy a 240 instead, too many problems compared to an RSX.

i had an rsx before. I think the 240 is alot more fun to drive. If i were you, i would sell the mods you have on your rsx, buy a 240 and mod it. Use the rsx as daily driver.

If you want a project car get an FC and drop in a 13b or 20b. Talk about sickness. I love those cars. You can do everything with the RX-7 that you can a 240 but its cheaper than the 240.

You need to decide what you want. Do you want a project car that sits most of the time, but you slowly sink your money into making it nice? Do you want something that's fast, but looks like hell, and all you want to do is hit the track with it? Do you want a car that's just cheap fun?

For instance, I think if you want something nice, you either need to get an S14, or just get something else. The S13 is never going to be *that* car.

If you want something fast, the S13 is a great choice. You can get one that will smoke the shit out of your RSX for less than $10k. I know. I have one.

If you want something to beat up on the weekend at a track, get an S13 and spend all your money on seat time. When you get good, start buying upgrades for parts that break. When you get really good, sell the 240 and get a real racecar (sorry Adam! ;))

Feel Better? I don't need validation. I could've bought several 240's at that time, but I needed it as a daily driver. I worked almost 1 hour each way. An S13 would not exactly be the most reliable car for this drive, especially not the ones that were anywhere near where I live. I just want some opinions on whether the car itself is worth dumping $$$ money into, while I already have a car that's nice............ And I would appreciate, not being referred to as "you people". Thanks, I hope I clarified some things : )

I gave up, because I was paying 35 dollars a day for a rental. I didn't have a working car at the time, it was stolen. I had a good deal with the accord, so I took it. My financial position is different now, and I have a work vehicle. Hence, I'm starting to look for one again.

I don't understand some people have to talk shit. As much energy as it took to say something negative, you could've said something constructive. All this anti-honda shit should stop, too. If you're a true car enthusiast then you should appreciate all cars. Instead, of knocking a fellow import. Go on Honda-tech and see how many anti-nissan threads there are. :zero:
