I just bought an engine from someone, the engine is a 96 ka24de. Just installed it yesterday and it wouldn't start, so I checked the fuel pump and it wasn't connected properly. So I fixed that, and now it works.
My next problem is that I'm not getting any spark. I'm working with a 96 240sx, with a 96 ecu, and no clue what year my distributor is. I checked for spark and got nothing. Does the dizzy have to be year specific to the engine? And is there a way to check if the distributor is bad?

Thanks :)
