View Full Version : Auto to manual clutch line help!

I been looking all around on what i should do but i couldnt find anything... im converting my s14 to manual and i dont know if i should just get the clutch line or the auto to manual clutch line? i mean like it is gonna be converted but then itll be manual so idk why i shouldnt just get the regular ss clutch line thats shorter n not the auto to manual one which is like 52" long if i get the shorter one is there another line i need to get? i heard of a rubber and hard line so if i get the long line would i replace both of these? let me no asap please im doing it soon

If you get the short line, you will need the hard line that goes from the master cylinder to the frame rail. I would recommend getting the auto-manual line, I think it's roughly the same price as the short one if I remember correctly. That's what I have in my car, and it feels that same as having a hard line and a short ss line.

its not the same price, its about 20 bucks more..
I got my clutch hardline from the junkyard for 3$.. told them it was a "brake line"

Get the long line. Goes all the way from the MC to the slave and only 2 fittings to leak as opposed to 4 as well as it will feel a lot better.
