Anyone had experience with both units care to share likes or reason to go with one over the other?
Thanks!

I 'heard' that AEM ecu's have been known to drop tune mid run on people before.

i have the microtech lt10's on my sr20det s14 and i dont have any complain ,, i would choose the ems over the haltech as it's more user friendly and have some friends running the ems stinger on the sr20 with no probs.. hope it helps

AEM Version 1's are going for real cheap because of the newer version out... I think AEM Version 1 is well worth $500 compared to a tuned ECU...

This isn't even a good comparison... I have both the Haltech ECU and AEM EMS series 1, and it's like night and day. The Haltech is a hundred times better than the AEM EMS, especially with its user interface..

Is this given you have a tuner that actually knows how to tune properly? My local tuner recommends haltech > aem> pfc, but can tune all of them properly.
Just the options available for fine tuning as you move away from pfc to haltech, allows a tuner to get a smoother/stable tune with more power.
This is what I understand from them. Lmk if I'm totally off.
I moved from pfc to aem series 1 because I got a good deal on the ems with all sensors for same price as selling my pfc. Can't afford haltech!

haltech is my choice, aem has band-aided their coil driver problems since day one.

I have the Haltech P1000 Sport on my CA and really like it, easy to tune, reliable and absolutely no issues.
