I think it'll be better to replace it then repairing it, I guess it'll be cheaper then fixing it and having a frankistein ic.

you could slice off the bottom four rows and make new ends.

Just JB Weld that whole thing.. JK! You should just consider replacing the core. Plenty of decent size core for less 100.

unless you have a buddy that tig's and will give it a shot,. id say your better off getting another anyway

You should cut the damaged area, and the end tanks off. Then sell it as a core, or use it as a mid mount IC with new ends.
