Its obiously a copy of the Vertex, I know thier wide fenders they make for the S13 silvia fit pretty good really, I just havent seen anything on anybody using thier full kit. It doesnt look too shabby, I could probably get it cheap. Just wanted to know if anyone had it or knows how bad it fits? It cant be as bad as those cheap Nismo knock off kits that are made in Vietnam (yes kits are made in vietnam too).

So AIT took the vented S13 fenders and incorperated that into fenders for every other car and they gonna market them as "D1" ... how gay.

It is funny that you brought this up. I was just thinking of this kit as well...
I thought that Dousan was getting it. Another guy with a S15 conversion in his sig. (I believe) has it and pics are posted either here or on 240sxforums.com...

there is MUCH trimming and modifying to be done.
you better have a dremel ready.

yewepromise might i ask how you know about the fitment?....have you installed the kit on someones car, or seen it in person?
not trying to sound critical or demeaning-- just curious.

its not bad for the price, jspec quoted me for 750 shipped... if you dont want to put ur back into it trying to get it to fit go spend an extra 1000 bucks, but id rather pay 750 and spend half a day cutting and trimming then blow 1000 bucks. There are a few people lurking around this forums that have this kit, one guy said that there was some fitment issues but can be solved in a day but the quality was grade A. its up to you but if jspec is selling it, it must be decent

dont doubt my buddy yeswepromise. he knows whats up
1) dremel sand paper and block are YOUR FRIEND
you'll need it A LOT
my car mgiht be tweaked due to lots of track or this kit doesn fit
i am happy with price i paid
i am happy with how it looks
but the fitment
christ it isnt THAT great
anyways il show picks up
quality is grade A
yeah thats th eproblem
they think
hey lets make it stronger so we add MORe fiberglass
but the genius didnt think "more fiberglass means less fitment"
because door wont close w/o rubbing the sills more
so its good and bad
i put on the HOT ROAD (jdm) 180sx sides...fit PERFECT no rubbing ALL holes lined up EXCELLENT
i put on DRFT bumper...fit PERFECT
i put on AIT
and had to break out the dremel
also i dont like how the sides are made.its 2 peice!! FUCKING A!!
next time i get REAL JDM Tyte yo body kit...my dream kit..soon soon
this is great because if i break it.BLLAHHH whatever. no worries, no more tears
:)
notes: it is worth
it is strong
it is good stuff
but be ready for some tweaking of it and some hands on work
dont forget! working with fiberglass (sanding and such) YOU MUST wear goggles and a mask..you DONT want to breathe that shit it and you dont want it in your eyes! NOT GOOD!!
be safe!

yep I had the AIT front and sides on my coupe. I sold the front to a friend though I like my chuki front with east bear lip. The kit fits ok. I'll give it a 7 out of 10 since I've seen worse. Use all your factory mounting brackets for the front bumper. I still have the side skirts on but like most cheap side skirts for the s13 they pull away from the body on the top part on the rear quarter panel. also if your not on coilovers there is huge clearance with the front bumper. made my car look jacked up on sportlines

never will sell
i need a POS beater kit because when i buy my REAL kit..i wont rock it daily. too fuckin gexpensve and sexy hahaa
also you know i hate shipping! get it from jspec.com!!! its cheap!
i think part of reason kit wasnt so great fo rme was my car is tweaked. 1 year and 1/2 of track evnts screws stuff up!
sides fit badly...door hardly closed! so i cut it up! hahaha nice! only passenger side. since people close the door like pansies i cut it up. driver side i dont care. whatever..cheap kit means no sadness. only hatred and abuse is in its future
almost cracked the bumper lip off yesterday hahahaha NICE!
my brake light and atenna shaving...a friend in norcal did it..surfer style! :)

that reminds me I forgot the passenger side door sticks on the side skirt as well. just enough to scrape paint off but it doesn't get jammed anymore like it did before.
what part did you cut off of the side skirt dousan? got a pic?

dood im so ghetto
i cut of the part that sits in the door sill
dremel love
but now need to sand it smoothand get it nice and flush. so it wont rub
reason? passengers shut doors like pansies
driver side i left normal, sanding bottom, slight rubbing is ok because i drive and i know how hard to close door. nothing is more annoying then at the track passenger gets out and doesnt shut door all the way. im strapped in w/ harness and cant reach door to reopen/close
so i hacked it to hell so it will close like stock
probably is it doesnt look as good but MEH its not a show car and i guarantee you cant see it from 10+ feet away (when im on track) so i dont care
cheap sideskirts are GOOD! :)
btw, i suggest sand the HELL out of the bottom (part that sits on door sill) just make it a lot thinner so it will sit lower. you'll have to dremel the holes on the side (fender area) to move down a bit too...dremel it easy job
my exhaust, didnt clear the rear bumper..so hacked up the rear bmper to fit the exhausts CRAZY angle (more angle then N1 single) haha
its going to be so ghetto its hot
cant wait till i frankenstein the bumper back together hahaha..sweet!

lol thanks for the advice. I will sand down that piece underneath and move it lower on the car.

Yeah, get two kits if you plan on doing more then just daily driving. Hell if you live in Ga, get 3 kits, roads are phuckeddd up. I was thinking of getting a Trial Try Force Aero kit for a S15 and modify it for my S14. www.trial.co.jp But since VIS copied it and selling it for the low compared to Trial's REAL kit, I'll just use that as a kit when practicing drifting or auto x. Hell if it cracks I can repair it or just get another.
Also is it just me, the main difference between a S15 and a S14 bumber is a S15 curves up near the fenders where the outer edge of the lights are. Is there any other difference between that and the grill? I mean people who do the S15-strawberry coversion, can use just about any S15 japanese bumper.
