i've seen those. i had some australian friends i talked to online and they said they costed only about 45k in US money for a 400hp 6 speed four door. they actually knew about skylines and 200sx's n stuff (like engine codes chassis codes) i've heard their gasoline isn't that great.

I love the holdens and the astras, etc..shiet even ford makes sweet cars over seas. The real reason for us getting screwed is Us emmissions and saftey standards. (DAM politicians and tree huggers!) I watch the v8super car racing in Australia all the time. I used to watch the tour car racing in britain as well. I loved the Ford Mondeo........but of course after crash tests, and emissions scrutiny we got the watered down crap version, the contour. Oh well.

We do get ONE cool foreign GM car in the US. .

at least it was foreign, I understand it might or is now being made in a plant in MI. .

Anyway. . the Cadillac Catera. . It's an Opel / Vauxhall Omega. . (closer resemblence to Opel (German) version. . it's made in Germany, and looks like it. . But it's a GM car.

Still would be cool to get the Holden HSV Clubsport. . C5 engine, C5 brakes. . Grand Prix looks . only not as cheap... too bad it's STILL gonna be a fat piece of shit, just like all other GM cars. Oh well.

Actually CAdilac is making great cars lately, but they can't escape the "old mans car" image. The STS and the Catera are both well performing cars. The Northstar system is awesome!! Oh yeah, the last I heqard the catera was going to be made into a front wheel drive car to help up it's sales??? I hope that they DO keep it rear wheel drive.
