Repairing scratched glass

Whats the best way to repair scratched glass? I just shaved my rear spoiler, and while welding, it scratched my back glass pretty good. I bought a Janvil Glass Repair kit, but it didn't help much. Any suggestions?

scratch the glass while welding, did you mean pitted the glass if so it can't be fixed.
