View Full Version : Good article on buying JDM engines

Hey, I posted this over on NICO forums, but thought I would do the same here too (and hopefully prevent anymore purchases from scam artists!).

I've been searching for an RB25 lately and keep telling myself to stay away from the cheap places (like flashoptions and racinghard.com), but the $2000 plus shipping pricetag is SO tempting....

Anyway, I found this great article at about "getting what you pay for" situations with JDM engines. Although this place doesn't have RB clips right now (which is what I'm looking for), I think they successfully changed my mind about spending that extra 400-500 dollars to get a quality engine.

Anyway, goto www.total-boost.com and then at the bottom click the link "Lower prices elsewhere?" and it's a PDF file.

Nick

PS- If anyone can recommend quality RB dealers let me know! Thanks

I THINK, but can't remember, but I think a guy said he ordered from them over on NICO forums and was pleased with the customer service.
