Kyokyugen vs. Rays lug nuts

is there a big difference? are the kyokyugen ones ok? what is the problem with it being 7sided?

The 7 sides means that you can't use regular hex sockets to install or remove them...they come with an adapter so you can tighten/loosen them with a regular socket wrench.
