This is not a thread of what brand LSD is best. just making that clear.

However, An s13 i'm looking at right now has a jdm 180sx vlsd with j30 axles.

will the tomei 2way t-trax lsd fit right into the existing vlsd housing?

You need a open diff.or else you need to buy a two way for a j30

You just get one for a lsd equipped diff. Anywhere you order from will have the option.

But by bolt right on, you dont mean already installed right? You have to put it in your 3rd member

just stop posting.

you can post again when you know what you are talking about. :boink:

4x4 is right. I bought one already in a 180sx vlsd housing and 5 bolt half shafts so i know its possible.. if you look on rhdjapan i think it is, it will state pretty much what 4x4 said. try there. but i wouldnt order from there.

I have the tomei 2 way in a 180sx r200 that had vlsd from the factory and 5 bolt shafts.

I ordered these diffs for a few guys. Iv never opened the box aside from my own, but i have heard the the difference between the ones for opens vs the ones for lsd is the open ones come with shafts. My guess would be the shafts are vlsd splined inside and 6 bolt
