Heard it on the radio on my way home.
I'm flored, feel empty.
Many many years ago I chose to spend my pocket change on a cassette that caught my eye at the swap-meet's music stall.
It was the Beastie Boys 'License To Ill'.

Sound cheesy to say but that cassette changed my life.

Thank you Adam for all you gave, you'll be missed.

PS. Paul's Boutique is perhaps (in my humble opinion) the best Hip Hop album ever created.

RIP.
I did not hear this news yet.
And I agree, an awesome oldschool rap/hiphop group.

"Well I got to keep it going keep it going full steam
Too sweet to be sour too nice to be mean
On the tough guy style I'm not too keen
To try to change the world I will plot and scheme"

RIP

Ugh, man fuck cancer. :( He's dropping rhymes in a better place now.

To this day I still 'rock my Adidas, never rocked Filas'.

You can walk into any shoe store and buy retro sneakers
But in the early 90s it wasnt the case.
Myself and friends would spend afternoon hunting deadstock
Shell toes and Campus Adidas.
70s butterfly shirts from thrift stores aswell.

All because of the Check Your Head album cover.

Booming Granny... Who else would make song about boning old ladies...

Fuck, feels like a void left in me.

RIP

That tape was the first one I ever got. I also picked it up at a swap meet. Got it because of the crashed plane cover was cool. It to has changed my life. I have made so many memories listening to there music. It is hard to think that there may never be a new song from them that I can put new memories to.

Makes me feel a bit old but 47 is way to young to leave this place..

Been listening to the beasties since I was a kid. I to loved Paul's boutique and also the root down ep. Such a talented group. These guys would go from shitty punk rock songs to hardcore rap. Rip MCA Im really bummed about this but i guess everyone has there time and place.

"Coolin on the corner on a hot summers day, just me an my posse an MCA.."
