My stock shocks/struts are completely blown and then some, i do plan on going with a full coilover system later on down the line (after a motorswap). I'm planning on getting this suspension kit (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33590&item=2457151756) from ebay ($430). Or should i just get the KYB AGX with Eibach sportlines for $600 shipped from Tirerack.

Or does anyone know if any of these items are cheaper elsewhere? Or even if anyone on this board has either of these setups for sale used?

thanks,

I've had tokico shocks/springs on my S13 for over 6 years now, I have 0 complaints. Unless you want to go absolutely extreme with coilovers, this is a very cost effective setup that works well on the STREET. The reason I say STREET is because most coilovers are very extreme and dont really perform so hot over fucked up Los Angeles roads with potholes. I think a basic spring/shock setup works well for street driven cars. Of course, you can always go coilover later.. but I think thats a good bang for the buck.

ps: My tokico springs were black.. not sure why those are red, but that was years ago.

i'd go for the ebay setup until you can get the good stuff. they are sold as a set from the same manufacturer always a plus.

i've had rsr springs and tokico blues shocks/strut set up for 4/5 yrs, i think my shocks are blown/or close to being blown, so, they'll last long enough for you to upgrade to coilovers and that's a pretty cheap and good setup..

thanks for your help guys, i'll be getting that tokico setup and since it's good for daily street usage i might even stick with that setup for awhile so i can spend my money on other things :)

Dude so go with the agx/sportline combo. I had tociko blues and intrax springs on my s13 for a few months and they blew. I went from an s14 with an agx/sportline combo, and it was great. You'll thank youself later.
