ka24de mileage on gauge cluster no working?

Hey there zilvia, i tried posting this on the small questions thread, but no one answered. so here i go again. i drive a 98 240sx w/ stock ka24de.

Recently i noticed my mileage and my miles/trip wasnt going up. everything on my cluster still works, just not the mileage. only mods to the car is a header/exhaust, but that was after i notice it wasnt working.

any solutions on what might be the problem with this? thanks in advance.

Either the little motor for the counter is not plugged in, or the gearing somehow got dislodged... Regardless, you will have to yank it out and inspect it further.

does the speedometer work and just not the milage counter?

could be that cluster is going bad. happened to me twice, so i just replaced the cluster and problem solved.

i replaced my clutser and fixed my mph gauge issue, and kept the old one for spare parts
