hi was going to do a 5 speed swap and already researched what i needed the only thing that im having trouble with is that i cant find any information on the set up that i got, my car is a 97 and i got the transmission off a 95, going to use a 95 ob2 ecu but dont know what would be better if i used a 95 lower harness or a 97-98 harness, or does it really matter, dont really want to deal with re wiring but if their is no other option then i think im just going to stick with my regular harness and rewire that, and would i still need to repin the ECU

You can use your auto ecu with a standard trans

ya i know i can use the auto ecu but car will get cold starts and i wont be able to pass smog, because of check engine light and if i use the standard transmission lower harness i need to rewire it and dont really want to do that but like i said if i were to buy the manual lower harness and still need to rewire it might as well just use the standard harness
