i remember a while back you said you had you're exhaust made at a midas er somethin? curious if this was mandrel bent and what it cost you

anyone know anything about the pipe kits you can buy from magnaflow that you cut and hang yourself? like cost, performance, and how difficult it is to install

anyone else that may have had a custom exhaust done please tell me more as well

well I got my exhaust at Express Muffler Tow/Hitch. (turns out they had HKS piping for my car and just welded another muffler onto it). anyways, Mandrel bent isnt necessary. maybe just go a quarter of an inch bigger (2.75"), and you should have the same results. (the bottlenecks should be about 2.5").

I had a custom one on my old prelude, it should cost you around $250 - 300 for the whole setup (presilencer and muffler and custom bent catback piping).

crush bends can reduce flow by up to 50%, so i think i'll stick with mandrel.

I had mine done at Midas... not sure if it was mandrel bent, but the piping itself was $100, with a bit under $100 for the universal muffler. &nbsp;This was on my S13, and I used 2.25&quot; piping (same as stock I think, even though I thought it was 2&quot;, but anyways it was a lot straighter. LoL)
