Okay zilvia here Is my 1995 240sx s14.. It is truly beautiful. I'm taking the wing off today... Lol . Anyway what do you think? It has 86,200 miles on it. Ka24de . Running compression this week.
Im new to the game but I know
A lot about 240s but not anywhere near as 3/4 of all you on the forum. Here is what I need help.

I want to make 400-450 hp. Should I .

A.) build my ka- turbocharge.. Already have - apexi n1 dual exhaust. Cams and intake. Sitting maybe like 180hp.

Or should I swap.. (what im leaning towards)

I love the rb25det. I have money to play with So cost isn't an issue but I don't want to waste unnecessary money.

Well it'd be one hell of a task to clean that car up. I hope you got a good deal on it, because you'll find that with the money spent on making the car more aesthetically "tame", you could have had two s14's.

As far as power plants, you cant go wrong with an LSX but if you just want plug and play an sr20det is always a good option.

Good luck with it, we've all got to start somewhere.. but for the love of the sweet baby christ jesus I implore you to revert the front end to stock. This ain't the 90's no more!

I'd do what KravingAKouki told you.

1. buy an RB
2. build the RB using reputable parts
3. pull the KA, sell it
4. drop the RB in
5. take off the body kit, or the front bumper at least, you'll need to either way because of the intercooler
6. order s15 front end parts
7. buy stock interior parts
8. order aero kit that you like
9. install interior, aero and s15 parts
10. paint

all done in 10 steps, good luck and if you have any questions on what parts to buy for the RB, search google for RB performance parts, depending on which one you get, I recommend rb25det. frsport.com could be your best bet but idk cause I don't have an RB to buy parts for.

Those 17" Dunlop CP-R's are probably worth more than the car itself. The car looks like it was well put together but I would suggest looking around at the cars in this forum.

part of me was thinking this is a troll.... then its like wait, dude really owns this car-domain nopi shitride. but the crazy thing is, i really... REALLY like this car. if you look at it carefully, it could be worse... SO MUCH worse. the paint could be cracking and peeling, the body filler could be cracking... the interior vinyl/paint could also be lifting, it ALL could be falling apart. But somehow (probably MAGICALLY) its all still solid, which leads me to believe that this car has been truly maintained well. This also means that this dude, or... actually, the previous owner, REALLY took care of this car and liked it.

I'd do what KravingAKouki told you.

1. buy an RB
2. build the RB using reputable parts
3. pull the KA, sell it
4. drop the RB in
5. take off the body kit, or the front bumper at least, you'll need to either way because of the intercooler
6. order s15 front end parts
7. buy stock interior parts
8. order aero kit that you like
9. install interior, aero and s15 parts
10. paint

all done in 10 steps, good luck and if you have any questions on what parts to buy for the RB, search google for RB performance parts, depending on which one you get, I recommend rb25det. frsport.com could be your best bet but idk cause I don't have an RB to buy parts for.

yea, if u want to be cool on here, u need to buy wheels that stick about 2 inches past the fender, stretch the tires, (buy tires that r too narrow), and lower ur car to where the sway bar is on the ground, and yes drive it this way.

u shud get rid of the bodykit, spoiler, re install corner lights, get newer wheels, at least 18x9.5 +20, and some suspension to catch up with times. Browse a lil more and ull get the feel of things..200k a year with proper guidance and understanding, I can easily see you becoming a zilvia legend. ;)

Those 17" Dunlop CP-R's are probably worth more than the car itself. The car looks like it was well put together but I would suggest looking around at the cars in this forum.

People will hate so if you want to fit in around here buy a $3000 bell-bottom body kit, Get wheels that are to big for the chassis with mega stretched tires, and be sure to put a huge sticker on the front and or back of the windshield that says "Im killing it bro." This is what I would do.

Part out the car. Sell the wheels, sell the body kit/wing. get a nice kit with side fenders, throw a nice suspension on lower it. Go get some nice wide wheels like 9.5 in the front 10.5 in the back maybe some 17's or 18's wrap them up with some nice tires and get a nice toe in. take some nice black paint and repaint that interior and get a nice race wheel. The seats look great. Now that we have it looking better if you want to make 400-450hp Keep that KA its a stronger engine and stock internals can withstand 400hp. If you even want to go higher do a full rebuild with high end parts and you can even go higher. So just turbo this KA. NOW if you have money for a RB keep that KA for a back up engine and buy the RB. Then after you have all the power out of the way and the car is done re paint it. More to it then that but im sure you will see that along the way. redo those gauges too lol.

The modifications made to it are at pretty dated, at least 10 years. I can see a lot of work went into it and I'm not going to argue with you but just understand people will say shit because times have changed. I know you have somewhat made up your mind on what you want done but I'll give you some advice.
-Just get new fenders and put the corner lights back in, or just get a new facelift for the whole front end
-Switch the interior back to black and keep it simple despite the trouble the previous owner went through to get it to where it is
-I'd keep the motor KA, build it, piece together a nice quality turbo kit. If you really have the funds that you say you do, go GM crate and call it a day.
-I'm not sure what suspension you have but its probably outdated and not the best quality stuff thrown together. Stuff that is nice and proven are BC Coils, Stance, PMB, and Fortune Auto.
-The wheels are outdated for the car as well. With you being the owner of some classic cars I'm sure you can appreciate a nice set of staggered wheels.

There is a lot that needs to be done. Coming to a forum will cause a lot of flaming with a throwback car like that so just be patient. PM me if you have questions.

There are plenty of people that flaunt it if they have it... and the OP is the exact type to do so. It's usually people that are self employed and usually something to do with homes. I have an acquaintance that use to paint new interior homes for a living. He was good and really fast. He would usually make about $1000/day. Another one of my friends use to do his taxes for him and he confirmed him making $300,000+ a year. So on to the flaunting part... he spent $1000/day. He had West Coast Customs build him a Cadillac with real trophy grade zebra hide etc. He also bought a 64 Impala from West Coast Customs. He owned a Viper, multiple vans/trucks, blew money like it was going out of style. Then one day he had none, zero... he is flat broke now. He started getting a little lazy watching over his employees. The construction companies tried to warn him to shape everything up... he didn't listen. Houses weren't getting done on time and the quality dropped greatly. He lost all accounts and then had nothing. He never could get back in the painting business.

As far as the seats that's fuckin retarded it cost me like a few grand in all to shoot, get the hide tanned, get it shipped and through customs with my zebra pelt. So having four or five of em the guy spent over 10gs on the interior alone... That is if he went with legit African zebra and not ones from a farm in Texas
