Does the jdm 180sx 5bolt vlsd fit on the usdm 240 without jdm axles?

dvdevo, there are many threads about lsd's here on zilvia, as well as many tech articles on the net with full descriptions of what fits and what doesn't. before dousan yells at you for not searching, i'll give you the short answer: no.

No, the 5 bolt wouldn't fit. You'll need the JDM axles with it. The 6 bolt (2x3) fits the stock axles though.

Damn David, you're lucky Dousan wasn't on this thread...haha...you know how he gets when he hears stuff like this. Anyways, I thought keith sold the jdm vlsd with the axels...? Cole got his through him and I'm assuming he got the axels along with the pumpkin...

haha everyone warns about dousan. I tried to search the faqs but they dont work. Acually i rather have dousan post why it wont work anyways, since i know he knows his stuff =\.

dousan does know his stuff, but just about any1 will tell you it doesnt work, because no usdm 240 came with 5 bolt axles, i have a 180sx vlsd, and mine is 5 bolt, however, i got the axles, muahaha

you can get infinity J30 (1995) rear axles to complete the swap. that's what i did.

Fool, I told you earlier:

If the VLSD has 6 bolt shafts you're good.

If not you need the axles.
