Welded spider gears from open diff in s13 vlsd

If I were to purchase welded spiders gears out of an open diff off somebody on the forum could they swap into my vlsd? I have a 91 hicas s13

do you want to get rid of the vlsd and get a welded diff? swapping the internals is completely pointless and a waste of time. all you'll need to do is get the rear half drive shaft from an s13 with an open diff and swap the diffs. and idk if the hicas has 5 bolt output shafts or 6 bolt but either way you can come across 6 bolt halfshafts very easily.

Yes I just want to have a welded diff basically and was trying to find a cheap way to rid my vlsd. I was just curious if the internals could swap out because it is cheap to buy welded spider gears from people off the forum. Also my car was originally abs arent the driveshafts different sizes as well?

Impossibruuuuuuuuuu

VLSD is a sealed unit. You can't just open that up & put the welded spider gears in it.

Viscous couple is sealed unit. But the DIFFERENTIAL is not!.
You can open diff and throw the viscous couple unit out and put whatever you want in there.
