Sohc to dohc?

The only diffrence between the two engines is the heads isn't it? I've been looking on the Internet and still am but I wanted to throw it on here o see if it would work. I have an extra sohc ka that I don't know what to do with

It is a little more complex than just swapping the head.

Not entirely true. Yes they are completely different motors, but with enough money and time and a good machine shop anything can be done. Is it worth the hassle NO, can it be done YES.
