yeah, they do.
I still have the driver side one from my 240 that I'm parting out if your intereste3d. Already sold the other one though. Could probably get you the mirror contyrol switch to. Email me if you're interested.

I think he is looking for the JDM spec mirrors that fold against the side of the car at the press of a button. I think all USDM s14's had normal power mirrors stock.

I've seen a few on ebay, but heard they are a bitch to wire up to work right. Plus, I wouldn't recommend them as there are correction factors built into mirrors to make up for the distance you have to look across the cabin to use them ("Objects in mirror are closer... on the passanger side).

I wonder if you could just swap the mirror lenses to fix that.... or just swap the guts.... I'd have them fold in when the ignition turns off... either using a contact switch or a timer activated by the ignition wire or my alarm.....

Oh, thats pretty cool. Didnt realize they had those. Might be a way to rig something like that up on the stock ones with some time and effort. Sounds like a good project to try.

Yep, I simply swapped the 2 mirror lenses, thats all.

However, I also took the entire mirrors apart and also swapped the internals to make my install as clean as possible. The angles of the mirror arms are a bit different, but nothing too dramatic.

btw, wiring the mirrors = 2 extra wires, not hard. :)

i dont see how you can swap just the lens, and have the whole mirror fold... am i missing something?

so are the 2 wires just to the switch and to the fusebox?

http://www.junkyard.com

...greatest site ever. Anyway, request a pair of power mirrors from there and the controls for it. When they show up in the mail, grab a couple feet of speaker wire and hook one wire each to the pos and neg terminals of your battery. Now, touch each of the other ends to the three metal prongs inside the clip at the end of the cable coming out of your new (used) power mirrors in each possible combination. Jot down which wire connections produce which direction of movement.

Now for the tricky part, use a multimeter to figure out which of the prongs on the bottom of your power mirror switch connect to which other prongs in each of the eight positions the switch can be in (left mirror - up, left mirror - down, right mirror - up, etc). Now, use that knowledge to start hookin' wires up the way they should be.

Good luck, and have fun. Invest in some fuses before you begin - in case you wind up needing 'em.

That's cool - I thought it was somewhere between being that easy and installing the digital climate control Do you know if it is the same for the s14? (why did I ask... it's not like I'll ever do an appearance mod to my poor unloved car )

baaah..... 2 questions now:
1. how much do the japanese folding mirrors generally run?? and where can one find them?? (the original question I believe)

2. Can the S14 digital climate control unit work with the KA ecu??
