:fart: :wiggle: :fruit: :jerkit:  :newbie: what's up everyone??? okay, i have this car for about 2yrs the orignal KA right now has close to 200k miles on it, it run great though but i got oil leaks every where. So, me and my brother decided that it's time for the old KA to retired; so, we were deciding on which engine we should go to the SR20DET or KA24DE. hmmmm..... so we called many local junk yard to check on a price for a KA, luckily we found this 96 KA with only about 19K in it for a pretty good price. So, we figured that we'll go with the KA and add a turbo on it later. Here are some pic when we took the engine out on Sunday night and clean the oil on Monday night. Also, we are installing a new clutch and a lightweight flywheel to it. We will probably drop the engine in either tuesday night or wednesday night.... thanks for all the info from zilvia.net people :ughug: :wavey:

You should cap the EGR pipe while you have such easy access to it.

i'm just curious about what you are doing with the old motor. Did you buy a whole parts car or just a motor?
