There is major resonation. It does it when I hit it hard, or even semi hard. My friend said it sounds awesome outside the car, but inside it sucks.
Anyways, results: I raced my friend in his 2000 celica gt-s (stick) and I beat him every time out of five times we raced. I took him up to 100, where he started to regain ground, but we stopped. I had him by a car and 1/2 untill around 90.
I can feel a major difference in the power of the car. I am now more satisfied with the car. I might even do some body work next, instead of more performance upgrades... although the n1 comes first, of course.
Anyways, peace.

ok when u say resonation what does that mean and what does that sounds like??? ever since i had my header installed i hear like a pppssshhhh almost like a vaccum hose is sucking in air somewhere. This may just be me CAI but i don't think it was doin that b4 but neway. i've checked all the fittings and everything can't find where it's coming from ..... maybe that's just the way it's supposed to sound.

Resonation is like the header is vibrating against some car body part. At slow speeds its like a rattle, and at full throttle, its resonation.

Sorry Dragon, but i have to ask the question that gets asked every time that some one posts a thread about a new mod they did to their car:
What other mods do you have done?

I too am curious about other mods.. a header alone would not be enough to beat a GT-S celica. those cars are suprisingly quick.. as long as you know how to shift them that is.. (Gotta keep it in VVTL.. means shifting around 8200 rpm..)

I also have a hotshot intake. And the headers are hotshot.
I had a shop do the headers. They said they had to move the power steering rack a bit to get it in.

When I was bone stock, he would hall ass on me. I would lose by like a bus length. When I installed my intake, I was behind by like a car. Now I win. HAHA!
Very worth-while upgrade.

i dont think thats his car dude. He took it from an online website just like how i got my pic. Doesnt mean i actually own the car in my pic, just means i dont have a scanner.
haha please, headers dont give you THAT much power dude. I have them, alex chang has them, and alex even dyno'ed them.. nothing worth saying you win or lose a race from. I am sure they give you power, but nothing dramatic.. <sigh>
