Hey Y'all,
Got a chance to install and test out the newly released Drift Freaq Tranny mount along with the semi-new "green" harder durometer Drift Freaq engine mounts:

Installation:
Pretty straight forward, same as installing any stock or Nismo mounts. All studs and holes on the Tranny mount line up nicely and the provided nuts and washers are good. There will be some moving around of the hanger located where the cat-converter meets the header/downpipe (if you still are using it) which attaches to the tranny mount itself to get it to fit. Other than that, should take about a few hours or so from start to finish.
Driving Impressions:
Street- These mounts WILL NOT rattle your teeth off. You many get somewhat of a massage as they do transmit a bit more of Noise-Vibration-harness (NVH) into the cabin compared to Nismo mounts and/or a peak performance street tranny mount BUT, it's definitely tolerable and would be just fine if you daily drive your 240sx.
Track- Really shines well here. There is not any of the "stick-shake" that worn-out stock tired mounts or some Nismo mounts will exhibit while launching hard from a start. Acceleration and decceleration into and out of corners felt great as well. Overall, my 240sx felt really solid during my practice and competition runs (I consistently run in SoCal Solo2 autocross events every month with a drift event thrown in every now and then) and that gave me confidence to push the car that much more.
Verdict/Final Thoughts:
I give these mounts a BIG THUMBS UP. You can spend your money on the Nismo mounts (which are good) but if you want something a little bit more solid that's more than a Nismo mount but not exactly like "solid" metal mounts, this is for you.
And for the amount you pay and the return in performance you get, you can't go wrong because it will be money well spent. Drift Freaq is also good with his customer service as he gets back to you and answers questions PLUS, he will warranty broken/defective mounts IF it's due to manufacturing defects.
SO, buy without fear!
