My s14 auto turns off when idles in a stop. Checked timing and it was good seems like it floods could it be maf? Or could it be the fuel regulator?or maybe the injectors. It only happens some times not constant but very often.it also idles rough before turning off but it runs super good no misfire. Help?

its could be one of those you listed.
if its flooding its probably a bad injector or o ring.
maybe your iacv is really dirty or going out.
also possibly a vaccum leak.

I was checking for vaccum leaks but nothing im thinking maf but it turns off when I disconnect it should run the same with or with out it if it wasn't working. It idles good most of the time though only turns off when I stop from driving it example red lights

your saying the car stalls when you unplug the maf?
i don't think it should stall, just not be able to rev past a certain rpm.
try cleaning your IACV & TB.
when my car would stall at lights, its was the fuel pump.

Does it start right up after it turns off?

I just went through this with my car. After replacing the fuel pressure regulator and the injector seals, checking the intectors and harnesses, and giving some of the plugs the "wiggle test," I gave up and took it to a shop. 2 hours of cleaning the connectors on the sensors and the car runs great again. Unplug everything and start scrubbing before you replace any parts.

If it runs like crap right before it stalls could be an egr valve sticking open as well. Although if it starts right back up that may not be the issue. Just another possible cause

Replace fuel filter with a Z32 one(If you haven't done so already)
