Engine was trash so I swapped in a 95 ka into my 91 coupe had to put the old exhaust
Manifold on new engine. I swapped in the new motor and its in the car but when
I tried hooking everything up the distributor wouldnt connect
Can I swap distributors or do I need a new wiring harness.

I havent checked what else doesn't fit but I'm sure its only the distributor that wont connect

Get an s14 harness I think you might also need the ecu not sure

Bump. Anything else I can do? I need this car running ASAP. a friend told me I wouldnt have to remove the ecu or wiring harness because its the same motor.
I called a mechanic friend and he said somthing about a pigtail wiring, I dont know what he meant. Would my best bet be to tow it to a shop and have them fix the problem? I want to do it on my own but Ive hit a wall.

it is the same engine but because of the year it does have some differences example the distributor

stop^ dont listen to him. take your old s13 distrib and intake manif off your old engine. now swap them onto the new ka. plug it in keep your s13 ecu now drive the fuck away.
