Best Tire?

I am running the stock s14 SE rims and its time for a new set of rubber. Does anyone know what would be the best tire for the job. I LOVE to drift so I need life, I have a lot of suspension mods so I kinda want good handeling but I would rather slide ;) . Also what would be the best size. I know stock size is 205/55 but would I get more fun with a 205/50? or 205/45. I don't want a tiny profile but I prefere performance over ride comfort. And finally I am lookin to spend about $350 installed? so can anybody give me a hand?

I got the ECSTA Supra 712s on my z32 wheels. Size is 225/50/R16 and they are great bang for the buck. Good tread life, good wet traction, and are cheap. I had them installed at costco for $9 per wheel.

I have a set of bridgestone potenza re730s(now they have Re750s) and they are 205/55/r15 on my stock rims (6.5in wide). The tires is soo nice i havent lost grip from them. But they are good for road racing and autox cause they are very sticky tires. So if your into drifting and all that then get the kumhos 712 heard those tires can break loose on command.

[email protected]?!? holy fuck bro. I go through a set in less than 10k. i dont drift or burnout or anything. Just traction drive. how do you keep Azenis for so long? Maybe you have the 17 inch wheels/tire?

Anyways to the guy who posted, here is the setup you need.

205-50-15 Falken Azenis in the front
equivalent or closest Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 in the rear.

The setup would kick ass for drifting.
Also if you have your interia drifting down and would like to drift a little bit faster, substitute the es100's for the ecsta 712's.

Anyone have any experience on those WanLi Brand tires yet? I've started seeing them and they're really cheap @ around $65 for 17s I think. They're Z rated tires too and the pattern seems decent.

Same here. There's no way I could get any more that 10k on a set. Maybe with the Azenis ST115s but no way on the "sports".

Yokohama es100's are great tires all around. Though I opted for the Yokohama AVS db S2's for my daily driving set for ride comfort, they have great wet/dry traction as well as little to almost no road noise. They happen to have really really good ratings at www.tirerack.com. I have 2 set's of SE 16's and my drift set are Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's. They're cheap tires that have a lot less grip then both yokohama models I've listed.

Anyone have any reviews on opinons on some Yokohama Avid V4S? I drive agressively on highways, (sorry I hate going below or same speed as the speed limit =P) Road noise isnt that much important to me, I'm using blasting my cd collection anyway. Just looking for some tires to test my car after I put on the RS*R Race springs and retune my suspension.

I see that some of yall just use Azenis sports for track. What do yall use for daily driving? I'm more of a grip driver, and looking for some tires to replace SOON, like next week. With my style of driving, I don't mind buying tires every year or so. Been raining alot lately especially the morning to drive to work. So I'd like a tire that can both wet and dry.
