R33 GTR Wheels - 17x9 +30 5x114.3

[hobbs]

Picked these up a couple weeks ago but have run into money issues, overall they are in decent shape. Wheels have a little but of curb rash but nothing horrific, one wheel has had a spoke welded due to a stress crack. All wheels are round and true. Looking to get what I have into them. I do NOT want to ship these things, so locals please come and pick them up.

3 are in good condition one is repaired but other than that its a decent price (asuming u work with shipping and what not

There is nothing wrong with the 4th wheel, it's not bent, dented, missing chunks and it balances out fine. It had a stress crack that was welded back by someone who knew what they were doing on a single spoke not half the wheel was welded back together.

Well, good job on calling the kettle black. As you can see it was a pressure crack on the back side didn't even really harm the spoke because it seems to didn't even crack more than a mm. It was welded and cleaned up pretty good and again its on the back side you wouldn't even see it. A good amount of people probably wouldn't even have noticed it if they looked at them in person. He's trying to up front and honest here.

These rims are very well priced for what they are and I got money down all 4 will hold air, be able to be balanced, and will outlast a GOOD amount rims you can buy for $600.

The rim is fine...I went to go look at them a few days with my buddy that been working with rims/tires for a good amount of years now he everything seemed good about them even the welded wheel is fine. Just no extra money for more rims or I would have bought them.

Why are you even posting in my thread then? Wheels are repaired all the time, the business of repairing wheels is HUGE. Stress cracks are not ONLY caused by hard hits to the wheel, metal expansion due to temperature is my guess as to why the stress crack happened. I find it funny the same people who would 'trust' the 4th wheel are the same people who would rock some XXRs and aluminum lug nuts.

like i said its a good price not over price not under priced its fair the repairdoesnt look all that extreme for daily use i would use them with out any doubt in my mind (i drive like an old woman)

track use i can understand where some one would have there doubts but all in all great wheels

but that included my original statement a set of 4 un repaired wheels would have sold long ago but these will sell just gotta hold on a lil longer but again will sell none the less

i want these but dont have the $ to buy them but again i would be buying them as a set of 3 and hopping on upgrage and buying a single or pair and using the cracked as a full spair

Not one potential buyer has second guessed the shipping quotes I gave them and even if someone would have I would have been more than willing to give them dimensions, weight and zips to calculate shipping cost themselves. Let me guess, you were a sorter or a truck loader for fedex?

Why wouldn't it? As you're the one who is coming in here and making such claims, please explain how welding would not bring the strength back to the spoke if not making it even stronger than before. Also please include where your vast knowledge of wheels and repair has come from - degrees/certifications would be nice. I have a feeling you're just talking out of your ass on this one.

Thanks, my friend had that GTR color on deck so i decided to go with that. white would of looked nice also.
