I was taking a look at everything and after spinning the crank pulley noticed that the chain is just one spot off. This is when the pulley in on tdc 2 the second one from the left where it's supposed to be and both the cam gears are exacty where they should be the only difference is the chain is slightly off. This shouldn't affect my timing at all like this correct?
Here's a picture what it looks like at tdc 2.

Uh, did you just put this together? Or just popped off the valve cover and took a look?

That's how it was before didn't change anything but looking at what I said it shouldn't make a difference it just sounds like the whole chain is off by one link correct?

No, dosen't mean that at all. If you never touched anything and this motor was running fine, if you keep spinning the motor over, it will eventually line up.

Thanks. I was 99% sure it wouldn't make a difference just making sure before I get it back in the car.

Good to hear! Cas is good as well. I actually did change out the headgasket but made sure the chain was in the exact same positions it had before. Didn't go by the dark part because it was off just made a mark with permanent marker. Found out how to adjust the cas and set it dead on so I'm hoping it fires up and runs perfectly.

10 full links dot to dot:D:D

10 links is suppose to be oem but sometimes its 11 which is fine, just add some timing via cas =)

be careful wording that.
You don't want to spin the motor over if valves are going to hit against pistons, or if the timing chain is disconnected. When giving tech advice assume some dork might read it and start bending stuff.
